2010 June 21
Hello, friends and family. I wanted to let each of you know that I am back in the States for a brief time to visit my family and to get acquainted with the family of my girlfriend, Melody, in northern Minnesota. We will be visiting some of my church families in the eastern United States over the course of the next month. If any of you are in the area, I would enjoy seeing you if you can make it to any of these events.
June 26, Lowell, MI. We'll be driving through Michigan on our way down to the General Conference and hope to see some of you this Sabbath. I only spent a year there while in aviation mechanics school, but you people still seem like family to me.
July 1-2, Atlanta, GA. I plan to be at the General Conference session on these dates.
July 3, Ranger, GA. Be there at the Ranger church by 9:30 for some singing and then see many pictures and hear about the mission work in Chad. I'm looking forward to seeing my Georgia church family again.
July 17, Greeneville, TN. I don't know the exact time, but I believe we'll be doing another mission presentation for an evening AYA program here in my home church. I'll look forward to seeing some of you then!
Coming back to the States is a bit like reverse culture shock. I'm having to get used to cooler air, abundant water, fruit, vegetables, smooth roads, instant phone communication, fast Internet, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, hot water showers, and so much more.
Thank you for all your prayers.
